Some of Eric Clapton’s finest work.

I’m a big Clapton fan (really, how could you NOT like him). That was some decent work. I’ve always liked the Phil Collins song “I Wish it Would Rain Down” for Clapton’s guitar work. It might be Phil singing it, but this is Clapton’s song.

People tend to gloss over his ‘80s period, but there’s some good stuff in there.

Sadly he is having issues lately trying to play. The damage to his nervous system damage from the years of drugs has caught up to him.

This album gave me goosebumps when I first heard it, hard to believe Clapton was in the proto-versions of the bands that would turn into Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin.

That whole blues rock scene in ‘60s London was truly amazing.

That’s a shame. I love that he’s been open about his troubles and has done so much to raise awareness for addiction treatment.
